In Maharashtra, the Kudi earring is a classic heritage piece – a small floral cluster originally crafted in gold and pearls. Aadyaa describes it as “a signature design in the history of Maharashtra,” traditionally made of pure gold to resemble a blooming flower in form it’s a dome-like cluster (often seven pearls or rubies around a centre), worn as an ear-stud in pairs. This graceful stud is considered auspicious and has long been a staple of bridal trousseaus. Crafted from real pearls, the Kudi adds timeless charm to any festive or everyday outfit.
